The Acrylic Painter by James Van Patten

This is an beautifully crafted book for acrylic painting its llustrated and written for acrylic painters. He is clearly a master of his own brush with loads of experience as a painter, Van Patten gibes the reader clear step by step ways and list the various properties of competing brands and products of acrylic paint, brushes, additives and supports.  He describes and demonstrates a wide variety of techniques including blending, layering, feathering, rewetting, glazing, stippling. This is a very useful bok that I've thoroughly enjoyed. The front and back of the book is splendid the from cover is just lovely. Huge thumbs up! This is a great book for beginners or any skilled artist!
